FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What is virgin hair?
A. Virgin hair is hair that has not been chemically processed and free of any chemicals. Virgin hair has not been permed, bleached or colored. It is 100% natural so there is no damage to the cuticles. Virgin hair is taken from one single donor so no hair is exactly the same. Virgin hair can be washed, colored, curled, flat ironed and blow dried.
Q. How long does your hair last?
A. The longevity of your hair depends on your maintenance routine and how well the hair is cared for. We recommend that you treat your extensions as you would your own hair. You should protect your investment by sealing your weft. With proper care you will have your virgin hair for at least 9 months to a year.
Q. Do we offer wholesale?
A. Yes we do. We have beginner wholesale options as well as advanced options. Please inquire with us for details if interested.
Q. What is co-washing?
A. Conditioner washing also known as co-washing, is washing the hair with conditioner instead of shampoo. This is gentler way of cleansing which adds the right amount of moisture to the strands cutting down on frizz.
Q. How do I seal the weft?
A. Sealing the weft is very important and highly recommended. It can be challenging at times trying to avoid getting it on the hair. To seal your weft/track apply a thin coat of sealer to the track of hair along the thread/track. Allow product to dry then repeat this process on the other side. After both sides are dry apply a second coat. If you cut the track make sure to apply sealer to the end of the track (cutting the track promotes shedding).
Q. Can the hair be straightened or curled?
A. Yes, it is 100% virgin hair so it can be curled and straightened as desired.
Q. Will my hair return to its natural wave/curl pattern after I straighten it?
A. Yes, all hair will revert back to original wave /curl pattern after being washed. Please keep in mind that the more you straighten the hair the less likely the waves/curls will return.
